Deposit refund cap to be imposed as planned: FSA's Takagi

TOKYO, Japan - Financial Services Agency (FSA) Commissioner Shokichi Takagi speaks in an interview with Kyodo News on July 25. Takagi, who was appointed as FSA chief on July 12, reiterated that a 10 million yen refund limit for liquid deposits should be imposed as scheduled on April 1, 2003 and pledged to speed up measures to stabilize the financial system to ensure smooth imposition of the limit.
